NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 433.13 points down at 59919.69 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Shreyas Ship(down 19.99 per cent), Tarini International(down 19.81 per cent), Nureca Ltd.(down 11.15 per cent), Goblin India(down 10.00 per cent) and Tiaan Ayurvedic & He(down 9.90 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 9 stocks closed in the green, while 41 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 143.6 points down at 17873.6.
On the BSE, Tiaan Ayurvedic & He, Focus Business Solution Ltd., Alfa Transform, Bangalore Fort Farms and Nova Pub hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Monte Carlo Fashion, Shardul Sec, Polymech Mac, Oriental Hotels and Loyal Textiles touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
