Sensex falls! These stocks fell 5% or more in Thursday's session

In the Nifty pack, 21 stocks closed in the green, while 29 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 170.22 points down at 83239.47 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Gagan Gases(down 15.74 per cent), Restile Ceramic(down 10.60 per cent), KK Shah Hospitals(down 9.26 per cent), Gallops Enterprise(down 8.41 per cent) and Fortune Intnl(down 8.07 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 21 stocks closed in the green, while 29 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 48.11 points down at 25405.3.

On the BSE, Omega Inter.Tech, Fine Line Circuits, Globe Civil Projects, Brand Realty and Kkrrafton Developers hit their fresh 52-week lows, while DCM Shriram, Fluidomat Ltd, Shree Global, Sumeet Ind and Quality Power Electr touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
