Sensex falls! These stocks fell 5% or more in Thursday's session

In the Nifty pack, 17 stocks closed in the green, while 33 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 388.4 points down at 65151.02 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, New Light Apparels(down 12.39 per cent), Rita Finance and Lea(down 10.89 per cent), Fone4 Communication(down 10.88 per cent), Avantel(down 10.50 per cent) and Pasari Spinning(down 10.31 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 17 stocks closed in the green, while 33 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 99.75 points down at 19365.25.

On the BSE, Ecoboard Ind, Transindia Real Esta, MRC Exim, Allcargo Terminals and Aanchal Ispat hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Sika Interplant, BF Utilities, Megasoft, Crane Infrastructure and Captain Technocast touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
