Sensex falls! These stocks fell 5% or more in Monday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 93.91 points down at 55675.32 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Hindoostan Mill(down 11.20 per cent), Ekennis Software Service Ltd.(down 11.00 per cent), INEOS Styrolution(down 10.85 per cent), Econo Trade(I)(down 9.90 per cent) and Simplex Realty(down 9.22 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 22 stocks closed in the green, while 28 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 14.75 points down at 16569.55.

On the BSE, Mitshi India, Innovative Tech, Gaekwar Mills, Jeevan Scientific and Future Retail hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Oil India Ltd, AGI Infra Ltd., Elecon Engg Co, Lahoti Overseas and Galactico Corporate touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
