Sensex falls! These stocks fell 5% or more in Monday's session

In the Nifty pack, 6 stocks closed in the green, while 44 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 824.29 points down at 75366.17 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Devki Leasing(down 19.87 per cent), Anant Raj(down 17.49 per cent), Dr. Agarwal's Eye Hospital(down 16.77 per cent), Insolation Energy(down 14.53 per cent) and Duncan Engineering (down 14.45 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 6 stocks closed in the green, while 44 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 263.05 points down at 22829.15.

On the BSE, Godavari Biorefineri, U Y Fincorp, Damodar Ind, Inventurus Knowledge and Indoco Remedies hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Lehar Footwears, Joy Realty, Ind-Agiv Comm, Manipal Finance and Sri Chakra Cement touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
