NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 56.99 points down at 79648.92 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Danlaw Technologies(down 19.99 per cent), Pacific Ind(down 18.26 per cent), Devki Leasing(down 15.00 per cent), Coffee Day Ent(down 14.62 per cent) and Next Mediaworks(down 12.44 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 22 stocks closed in the green, while 27 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 20.5 points down at 24347.0.
On the BSE, Devki Leasing, Rishabh Instruments, Akshar Spintex, Remedium Lifecare and Vitesse Agro hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Alfa Ica, B&A Packaging, Ola Electric Mobilit, Heranba Ind and Comfort Commo touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
