Sensex falls! These stocks fell 5% or more in Friday's session

In the Nifty pack, 16 stocks closed in the green, while 34 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 609.28 points down at 73730.16 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Patidar Build(down 10.00 per cent), Dharani Finance(down 9.64 per cent), Kore Foods (down 9.51 per cent), Diggi Multitrade(down 9.19 per cent) and Ind Renewable Energ(down 8.87 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 16 stocks closed in the green, while 34 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 150.4 points down at 22419.95.

On the BSE, Ind Renewable Energ, Integrated Hitech Ltd., Kuberan Global Edu, Atal Realtech and VCK Cap Market hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Megri Soft, Nimbus Projects, Kirloskar Pneumatic, Alliance Int. and Maestros Elec touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
