NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 793.25 points down at 74244.9 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Decorous Investme(down 13.79 per cent), Reliance Infra(down 13.01 per cent), Oricon Enterpr(down 11.18 per cent), Metal Coatings(down 10.37 per cent) and Som Datt Fin(down 9.99 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 7 stocks closed in the green, while 43 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 234.4 points down at 22519.4.
On the BSE, Shiva Cement, Adhbhut Infrastructu, VCK Cap Market, Dabur India and Nouveau Global hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Krystal Integrated, Nandan Denim, Ramco Systems, KJMC Financial and D & H India touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
