Sensex falls! These stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 17 stocks were trading in the green, while 33 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 33.71 points down at 57891.57 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Veer Global Infracon(down 20.00 per cent), Sundaram Clayton(down 18.11 per cent), Goldcoin Health Fds.(down 16.90 per cent), Promax Power Ltd.(down 14.61 per cent) and INEOS Styrolution(down 11.78 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 17 stocks traded in the green, while 33 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 26.75 points down at 17050.15.

On the BSE, SVJ Enterprises Ltd., Patron Exim Ltd., DAPS Advertising Ltd., Puravankara and White Organic Retail hit their fresh 52-week lows, while IZMO, Sterling Tools, KMG Milk Food, Vantage Knowledge and Remedium Lifecare touched their fresh 52-week highs.
