Sensex falls! These stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 20 stocks were trading in the green, while 30 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 146.94 points down at 60206.33 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Royal India Corp(down 12.83 per cent), Thirani Projects(down 9.82 per cent), Goldcoin Health Fds.(down 9.62 per cent), Mitshi India (down 9.53 per cent) and Ekennis Software Service Ltd.(down 9.49 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 20 stocks traded in the green, while 30 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 36.1 points down at 17956.05.

On the BSE, Global Longlife Hospital and Research Ltd., Jyoti Structure, Padam Cotton, Sumeet Ind and Dhruv Wellness hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Lambodhara Text, Sunrise Efficient Marketing Ltd., Kamadgiri Fash, Jagran Prakashan and Shiva Granito Export touched their fresh 52-week highs.
