NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 254.32 points down at 62580.28 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Royal India Corp(down 13.74 per cent), Shree Precoated(down 9.82 per cent), Achyut Healthcare Ltd.(down 9.02 per cent), Coastal Corp(down 7.84 per cent) and J. Taparia Proj(down 7.52 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

The Nifty index was trading 72.15 points down at 18628.9.
On the BSE, S & S Power Switch, Innovative Ideals, Synergy Green Ind, Proseed India and Atlas Jewellery Ind hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Punjab Sind Bank, Transcorp Intnl, Bank of India, Racl Geartech and West Leisure Resort touched their fresh 52-week highs.
