Sensex falls! These stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 32 stocks were trading in the green, while 18 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 27.12 points down at 61767.92 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Chemcon Speciality(down 16.88 per cent), Bilcare Ltd(down 15.93 per cent), Shakti Pumps(down 15.09 per cent), DHP India(down 14.36 per cent) and Sambandam Spin(down 12.94 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 32 stocks traded in the green, while 18 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 17.6 points up at 18367.3.

On the BSE, Bilcare Ltd, Shakti Pumps, Sambandam Spin, Pace E-Commerce Ventures Ltd. and Loyal Textiles hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Fluidomat Ltd, Shreeji Translogisti, Permanent Magnet, Metroglobal Ltd and FIEM Industries touched their fresh 52-week highs.
