Sensex falls! These stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 15 stocks were trading in the green, while 35 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 426.7 points down at 57000.22 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Shantidoot Infra Services Ltd.(down 14.39 per cent), Shri Krishna(down 11.64 per cent), Akshar Spintex(down 10.00 per cent), Gujarat Hy-Spin(down 9.90 per cent) and Martin Burn(down 9.86 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 15 stocks traded in the green, while 35 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 109.3 points down at 16985.05.

On the BSE, Shantidoot Infra Services Ltd., Ansal Housing, Proseed India, Systematix Corp and GKP Printing & Pack hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Rhetan TMT Ltd., Oriental Hotels, APM Industries, Cochin Shipyard and Shivalik Bimetal touched their fresh 52-week highs.
