Sensex falls! These stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 15 stocks were trading in the green, while 35 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 97.5 points down at 58038.86 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Chordia Food(down 31.11 per cent), Mitshi India (down 9.83 per cent), Northern Spirits(down 9.82 per cent), Inditrade Capital (down 9.48 per cent) and Lahoti Overseas(down 9.25 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 15 stocks traded in the green, while 35 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 46.25 points down at 17299.2.

On the BSE, Modern Dairies, ISF Ltd, Karda Const and GSK Pharma hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Chemcrux Ent, Kavita Fabrics, Ambar Protein Indust, Leading Leasing Fin and Haria Apparels touched their fresh 52-week highs.
