Sensex falls! These stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 15 stocks were trading in the green, while 35 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 263.68 points down at 59294.65 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Pyxis Finvest(down 19.93 per cent), Naysaa Securities(down 13.34 per cent), Cospower Engg (down 6.94 per cent), Morarka Finance(down 6.35 per cent) and Welspun Ent(down 5.94 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 15 stocks traded in the green, while 35 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 71.6 points down at 17708.4.

On the BSE, Emergent Global Edu, Superior Finlease, Neuland Labs, Niraj Cement and Janus Corporation hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Clara Industries Ltd., Shivalik Bimetal, Jindal Drilling, TV18 Broadcast and Jasch Ind touched their fresh 52-week highs.
