NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 129.19 points down at 58332.10 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Tarini International(down 10.00 per cent), Atam Valves(down 10.00 per cent), S R Industries(down 9.27 per cent), Shristi Infra(down 8.60 per cent) and CG-VAK Software(down 7.85 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 20 stocks traded in the green, while 30 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 31.55 points down at 17370.1.

On the BSE, Stephanotis Finance, Sparkling(India), Emergent Global Edu, Rajasthan Petro and Shalimar Prod hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Avonmore Capital &, Neogen Chemicals, De Nora India, Mindteck India and Decipher Labs touched their fresh 52-week highs.
