NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 1022.49 points down at 57772.60 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Milestone Furniture(down 9.89 per cent), Inventure Grwth(down 9.38 per cent), RMC Switchgears(down 8.65 per cent), Ajanta Soya(down 8.61 per cent) and AA Plus Tradelink Ltd.(down 8.34 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 4 stocks traded in the green, while 46 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 303.9 points down at 17232.35.
On the BSE, GCM Comm, Sun Retail, Spandana Sphoorty, Bombay Burmah and CarTrade Tech Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Urja Global(PP), Vegetable Products, Palred Technologies, Greenlam Ind and Trejhara Solutions L touched their fresh 52-week highs.
