Sensex falls! These stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 19 stocks were trading in the green, while 31 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 178.11 points down at 76556.78 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Sea TV Network(down 19.23 per cent), Pasupati Spinning (down 10.85 per cent), Mayukh Dealtrade(down 10.44 per cent), Raj Television(down 10.00 per cent) and BGIL Films & Technologies Ltd.(down 9.83 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 19 stocks traded in the green, while 31 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 46.3 points down at 23282.25.

On the BSE, Mudunuru, Gensol Engg, Thakral Service, Mahalaxmi Fabric Mil and Boston Bio Systems Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Panacea Biotec, Yuvraaj Hygiene, NACL Industries, Gujarat Natural and Texel Ind touched their fresh 52-week highs.
