Sensex falls! These stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 12 stocks were trading in the green, while 38 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 525.98 points down at 77334.21 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, NGL Fine Chem(down 20.00 per cent), Super Tex Ind(down 19.95 per cent), Jainco Projects(down 19.23 per cent), Banco Products(down 18.20 per cent) and Excel Ind(down 16.58 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 12 stocks traded in the green, while 38 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 168.61 points down at 23391.35.

On the BSE, NGL Fine Chem, Carraro India L, Pentokey Organy, IFGL Refractories and Toyam Industries hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Solitaire Mach, PFL Infotech, Bio Green Paper, RSC Intnl and Hypersoft Tech touched their fresh 52-week highs.
