Sensex falls! These stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 21 stocks were trading in the green, while 29 stocks were trading in the red.

Nifty continues to climb a wall of worry as it looks to be in the final leg of its rally before heading for a correction.
NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 26.2 points down at 76494.18 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Samrat Forgings(down 19.99 per cent), Cyient (down 17.98 per cent), Promact Impex(down 10.73 per cent), Kintech Renewables (down 9.99 per cent) and Cindrella Hotel(down 8.60 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 21 stocks traded in the green, while 29 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 16.3 points at 23189.05.

On the BSE, Golden Legand Leasing & Finance Ltd., Cyient, Rajratan Global, Noida Toll Bridge Co and Stallion India Fluor hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Fervent Syn, MPS Ltd, Hilltone Soft&Gases, Jaykay Enterpr and Yash Trading touched their fresh 52-week highs.
