Sensex falls! These stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 23 stocks were trading in the green, while 27 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 4.37 points down at 79537.42 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Dynavision Ltd(down 10.25 per cent), Evans Electric(down 9.99 per cent), AVI Polymers Ltd.(down 9.84 per cent), Purple Entertainment(down 9.43 per cent) and Dhanalaxmi Roto(down 8.16 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 23 stocks traded in the green, while 27 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 18.2 points at 24181.15.

On the BSE, Suryalata Spin, VSF Projects, Repro India, Prince Pipes and Arman Financial hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Tera Software, IGC Industries, Neeraj Paper Market, Adinath Exim and Shiva Texyarn touched their fresh 52-week highs.
