Sensex falls! These stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 26 stocks were trading in the green, while 24 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 231.33 points down at 80137.7 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Suryo Foods Ind(down 18.86 per cent), Shankar Lal Rampal(down 14.21 per cent), Five-Star Business Finance(down 10.53 per cent), Venus Remedies(down 10.34 per cent) and Ausom Enterprise(down 10.00 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 26 stocks traded in the green, while 24 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 54.25 points at 24412.6.

On the BSE, Shankar Lal Rampal, OCCL Ltd., Evergreen Textiles, Gautam Gems and Cressanda Sol hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Baba Arts, Jagsonpal Pharm, Ami Organics, Shreyas Intermediates and Arvind SmartSpaces touched their fresh 52-week highs.
