Sensex falls! These stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 20 stocks were trading in the green, while 30 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 23.33 points down at 81688.43 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Navoday Enterprises(down 11.25 per cent), Dr. Lalchandani Labs(down 9.95 per cent), Nirav Comm(down 9.78 per cent), Natura Hue Chem(down 8.84 per cent) and Shri Balaji Valve Co(down 8.51 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 20 stocks traded in the green, while 30 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 7.55 points down at 25010.2.

On the BSE, Mahalaxmi Fabric Mil, Globale Tessile, PS IT Infra, Grandma Trading and Interarch Building hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Prem Somani Financial, Simplex Realty, Kronox Lab Sciences, Ceejay Finance and Insecticide Ind touched their fresh 52-week highs.
