Sensex falls! These stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 18 stocks were trading in the green, while 32 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 408.27 points down at 79740.61 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Clara Industries(down 10.67 per cent), Ascensive Educare(down 9.98 per cent), Coral Newsprint(down 9.86 per cent), JK Paper(down 8.09 per cent) and F Mec International(down 8.00 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 18 stocks traded in the green, while 32 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 98.55 points down at 24314.95.

On the BSE, Sawaca Business, Akashdeep Metal, White Organic Retail, PS IT Infra and VSF Projects(PP)hit their fresh 52-week lows, while MMTC, STC India, Capital Trust, IL&FS Invest and Amines Plastic touched their fresh 52-week highs.
