NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 1657.98 points down at 74810.8 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Dhanashree Electro(down 19.98 per cent), TGIF Agribusiness(down 17.40 per cent), Reetech Intnl. Cargo (down 16.52 per cent), ABM Knowledge(down 12.61 per cent) and Filatex Fashions(down 12.31 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

The Nifty index was trading 472.21 points down at 22791.7.
On the BSE, Filatex Fashions, Confidence Futuristic Energetech, Standard Surfact, Thinkink Picturez and Revathi Equipment hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Shree Ganesh Remedies, Heritage Foods, Binayak Tex Processors, Cochin Malabar and Sylph Education Solutions touched their fresh 52-week highs.
