Sensex falls! These stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 10 stocks were trading in the green, while 40 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 318.19 points down at 72170.8 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Mahalaxmi Rub(down 30.79 per cent), Benchmark Computer S(down 19.72 per cent), Fraser & Company(down 13.95 per cent), Atharv Enterpr(down 10.48 per cent) and Brijlaxmi Leas(down 10.00 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 10 stocks traded in the green, while 40 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 101.15 points down at 21894.7.

On the BSE, Integrated Hitech Ltd., MEP Infrastructure, Ibull Housing Fin(PP), Vijay Textiles and Shalimar Prod hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Perfectpac Ltd, KM Sugar Mills, Fortis Malar, Eldeco Housing and High Energy Batt touched their fresh 52-week highs.
