Sensex falls! These stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 6 stocks were trading in the green, while 44 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 630.96 points down at 70869.8 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, SDC Techmedia(down 19.92 per cent), Octavius Plantations(down 19.89 per cent), LTIMindtree(down 12.68 per cent), SVS Ventures(down 10.00 per cent) and Shree Ajit Pulp(down 9.98 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 6 stocks traded in the green, while 44 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 198.66 points down at 21373.3.

On the BSE, Mega Nirman & Indust, Sanmit Infra, Ashnisha Industries, Shreeji Translogisti and Happy Forgings hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Oracle, Golkunda Diam, Rane Eng Valve, Ganga Papers and Inter Globe Fin touched their fresh 52-week highs.
