Sensex falls! These stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 19 stocks were trading in the green, while 31 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 230.54 points down at 61701.93 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Duncan Engineering (down 13.68 per cent), Aditya Ispat(down 11.47 per cent), Dhanashree Electro(down 11.14 per cent), ACE Software(down 10.00 per cent) and Beryl Drugs(down 9.96 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 19 stocks traded in the green, while 31 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 64.35 points down at 18222.15.

On the BSE, Apt Packaging Ltd., Cindrella Fin, PVR, V Mart Retail and Northlink Fiscal&Cap hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Labelkraft Technolog, Transvoy Logistics, Kaynes Technology In, Ddev Plastiks Indust and Suryaamba Spin touched their fresh 52-week highs.
