Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Bombay Oxygen Invest(20.0%), National Oxygen(19.98%), Syncom Form(19.95%), Bharat Immuno(19.92%), Parmax Pharma(19.91%), Earum Pharmaceutical(19.84%), Gennex Labs(16.98%) and Morepen Labs(16.39%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 980.93 points down at 59845.29, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 320.55 points down at 17806.8.


In the Nifty50 index, 1 stocks closed in the green, while 48 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Escorp Asset Manage, Paramone Concepts, Ind Link Chain, Abirami Fin Svc and SVP Housing hit their fresh 52-week high, while Goldstone Tech, V2 Retail Ltd, MFL India, La Tim Metal & Indu and Megasoft touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
