Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Country Condos (20.0%), Racl Geartech (19.99%), Bajaj Hindusthan Su(19.97%), Indiabulls Intgrtd(19.91%), Supremex Shine Stee(19.9%), Sadbhav Eng(19.41%), Satin Creditcare(17.91%), Shriram EPC(17.4%), Alpa Labs(17.28%) and Sharda Cropchem(15.1%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 33.9 points down at 62834.6, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 4.95 points up at 18701.05.


In the Nifty50 index, 25 stocks closed in the green, while 24 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Narmada Gelatine, Nelcast, JK Lakshmi Cement, Linc Pen Plast and Suzlon Energy(PP)hit their fresh 52-week high, while Bhoruka Alum, Avance Tech, Keystone Realtors Ltd., Dhruv Wellness and Shivom Inv.&Consult touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
