Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, W H Brady(20.0%), Neuland Labs(20.0%), Nitta Gelatin(19.99%), Premier Capital Services Ltd.(19.96%), P H Capital(19.95%), Silicon Rental Solutions Ltd.(19.91%), Sellwin Traders Ltd.(19.86%), Saven Tech(17.99%) and Linc Pen Plast(15.3%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 419.85 points down at 60613.7, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 128.8 points down at 18028.2.


In the Nifty50 index, 11 stocks closed in the green, while 39 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Nitta Gelatin, Linc Pen Plast, Refex Industries, Batliboi and Accelya Solutions hit their fresh 52-week high, while Team Lease Service, Quess Corp, Everest Kanto, Renaissance Global and CLC Industries touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
