Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Ritesh Prop(20.0%), Seamec Ltd(20.0%), Cenlub Ind(19.98%), Rama Vision(19.91%), Aarnav Fashions(19.9%) and GCM Capital Adv.(15.43%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 872.28 points down at 58773.87, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 267.75 points down at 17490.7.


In the Nifty50 index, 5 stocks closed in the green, while 45 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Rama Vision, DB Corp., Indo Amines, Ruby Mills and Praveg Comm hit their fresh 52-week high, while S M Gold, Kothari Fermen, My Money Securit, Bombay Rayon and Kushal touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
