Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Repco Home Fin(20.0%), Ultracab(India)(20.0%), SecMark Consultancy(19.99%), Eros Media(19.97%), DCM Ltd(19.95%), Almondz Global(19.95%), Aarnav Fashions(19.93%), Premco Global(17.27%), Valson Ind(15.66%) and Rama Vision(15.51%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 651.85 points down at 59646.15, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 198.05 points down at 17758.45.


In the Nifty50 index, 6 stocks closed in the green, while 44 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as SecMark Consultancy, Magna Electro, Advait Infratech, AMD Industries and Goblin India hit their fresh 52-week high, while Chordia Food, GVK Power Infra, Future Enterprises, Jet Freight Logistic and Polyspin Exp touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
