Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Compucom Soft(20.0%), Aryaman Capital(19.93%) and Navigant Corporate A(19.91%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 1456.74 points down at 52846.7, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 427.4 points down at 15774.4.


In the Nifty50 index, 2 stocks closed in the green, while 48 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Sumedha Fiscal, Essar Sec, Tree House Edu, Nintec Systems Ltd. and Marathon Nextgen hit their fresh 52-week high, while RBL Bank, Wardwizard Innov(PP), Ozone World, Welcon International and Starcom Info touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
