Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, AGC Networks(19.99%), Humming Bird Educat(19.97%), RO Jewels(19.91%), RattanIndia Infra(19.46%), Shriram EPC(18.25%), Policy Bazaar(18.08%), Citadel Realty(17.48%), Sonal Mercantile(16.46%), Matrimony.com(15.39%) and Anjani Finance(15.18%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 136.69 points down at 52793.62, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 25.85 points down at 15782.15.


In the Nifty50 index, 25 stocks closed in the green, while 25 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Sanmit Infra, Lorenzini Apparels, Naysaa Securities, Step Two Corp and Galactico Corporate hit their fresh 52-week high, while Indus Towers, Honeywell, Oracle, Niyogin Fintech and Caprihans India touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
