Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Containerway Intl.(57.22%), Modipon Ltd(19.96%) and Ekennis Software Service Ltd.(16.67%).
The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 1491.06 points down at 52842.75, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 382.2 points down at 15863.15.
In the Nifty50 index, 10 stocks closed in the green, while 40 stocks ended in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Ekennis Software Service Ltd., ONGC, CWD Ltd., Future Enterprises (DVR)and National Highways In hit their fresh 52-week high, while Fabino Life Sciences Ltd., JK Cement, Indigo Paints Ltd., Nelcast and IndiaMART touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
