Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Sezal Glass(252.71%), Tega Industries Ltd.(60.15%), Lorenzini Apparels(20.0%), NDTV(20.0%), E-Land Apparel (20.0%), Beekay Steel Ind(19.99%), IMP Powers Ltd(19.99%), Keynote Financial(19.98%), Panth Infinity(19.96%) and Ambica Agarbathies & Aroma Industries Ltd.(19.94%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 503.25 points down at 58283.42, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 143.05 points down at 17368.25.


In the Nifty50 index, 14 stocks closed in the green, while 36 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Sezal Glass, Tega Industries Ltd., NDTV, Lorenzini Apparels and Keynote Financial hit their fresh 52-week high, while Vikas Multicorp(PP), Lex Nimble Solutions, Omnipotent Industries Ltd., Patel Integrat(PP)and Janus Corporation touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
