Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Tirupati Sarjan(20.0%), MT Educare(20.0%), Keynote Financial(19.99%), Sagarsoft(India)(19.98%), Shree Ganesh Bio-Tec(19.97%), Coffee Day Ent(19.93%), Reliance Comm(19.83%), Inani Marbles(19.77%), Windsor Machine(19.72%) and Vikas Proppant & Gr(19.63%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 20.46 points down at 58786.67, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 5.55 points down at 17511.3.


In the Nifty50 index, 25 stocks closed in the green, while 25 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Tirupati Sarjan, Shree Ganesh Bio-Tec, Network18 Media, Lorenzini Apparels and WEP Solutions hit their fresh 52-week high, while IFL Enterprises, Patel Integrat(PP), AA Plus Tradelink Ltd., Omnipotent Industries Ltd. and Stephanotis Finance touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
