Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, RPP Infra Proj(PP)(29.33%), Allcargo Logistics(19.99%), Walchand People(19.98%), Odyssey Tech(19.96%), Amco India(19.96%), Asian Tea Exp(19.95%), Keynote Financial(19.95%), Punjab Comm(19.88%), K P Energy Ltd.(18.7%) and Natural Capsule(16.87%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 109.4 points down at 60029.06, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 40.7 points down at 17888.95.


In the Nifty50 index, 22 stocks closed in the green, while 28 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as RPP Infra Proj(PP), Allcargo Logistics, Amco India, K P Energy Ltd. and Natural Capsule hit their fresh 52-week high, while Bharti Airtel(PP), Raw Edge Industrial, Bayer Cropsc., Sharanam Infra and Rajasthan Petro touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
