Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, NRB Industrial(20.00%), Signet Ind(19.99%), Hindustan Hardy(19.99%), Everlon Synth(19.96%), Standard Cap(19.23%), IFL Enterprises(19.19%), IFB Agro(17.56%), Keltech Energies(17.02%), AstraZeneca(16.95%) and Lypsa Gems(16.28%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 77.26 points down at 81373.75, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 34.11 points down at 24716.6.


In the Nifty50 index, 20 stocks closed in the green, while 30 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as IFB Agro, AstraZeneca, Pennar Ind, Anupam Finserv and Lumax Auto Tech hit their fresh 52-week high, while Srestha Finvest, Alfavision Over, Techindia Nirman, Siel Financial and Chembond Chem touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
