Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, ACS Technologies Ltd.(63.00%), Stampede Cap(DVR)(25.00%), ideaForge Technology(20.00%), Parmeshwari Silk(20.00%), Skyline Millars(19.98%) and Premier Exp(19.23%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 880.34 points down at 79454.47, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 265.8 points down at 24008.0.


In the Nifty50 index, 11 stocks closed in the green, while 39 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as ACS Technologies Ltd., Stampede Cap(DVR), Parmeshwari Silk, KPR Mill and Faze Three Ltd hit their fresh 52-week high, while Career Point, Chembond Chem, Trans Financial, G V Films and Modern Shares touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
