Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Redex Protech(19.98%), WEP Solutions(19.97%), Tourism Finance(19.34%), Capri Global(16.22%) and Paushak Ltd(15.21%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 728.69 points down at 77288.5, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 181.81 points down at 23486.85.


In the Nifty50 index, 9 stocks closed in the green, while 41 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Ador Multiprod, AB Infrabuild, Manipal Finance, Aveer Foods and Hira Automobiles hit their fresh 52-week high, while Facor Alloys, Dhanalaxmi Roto, Nxtdigital, Sunil Agro Food and Mitshi India touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
