Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Jupiter Infomed(19.98%), Coffee Day Ent(19.97%), Mediaone Global Entertainment(19.04%) and Ruby Mills(15.28%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 112.16 points down at 73085.94, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 5.41 points down at 22119.3.


In the Nifty50 index, 32 stocks closed in the green, while 18 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Narayana Hruday, Shukra Pharma, Hira Automobiles, Bio Green Paper and Adhata Global Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while Indo-City Info, Mangalam Drugs, G G Dandekar, Keerthi Ind and Minal Industries Ltd. touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
