Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, LKP Finance(19.99%), Baazar Style Retail(19.79%), Bajaj Steel(17.95%), Windlas Biotech(17.95%), FCS Software(16.66%), Godrej Ind.(16.48%), Narbada Gems(15.74%) and Add-Shop E-Retail(15.24%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 203.22 points down at 75735.96, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 19.75 points down at 22913.15.


In the Nifty50 index, 27 stocks closed in the green, while 23 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as LKP Finance, Deccan Cements, Synthiko Foils, Denta Water and Infr and Shree Rama News hit their fresh 52-week high, while Nettlinx Ltd, Danlaw Technologies, Suratwwala Business, Baba Arts and B2B Software touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
