Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Deco-Mica Ltd(19.98%), Photoquip Ind(19.96%), GSS Infotech(19.18%), S P Capital Fin(18.34%), POCL Enterprises(15.65%), Solitaire Mach(15.57%) and Nitin Castings (15.02%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 32.11 points down at 76138.97, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 13.85 points down at 23031.4.


In the Nifty50 index, 25 stocks closed in the green, while 25 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Solitaire Mach, Gowra Leasing, RDB Real Estate Cons, Redington and Muthoot Finance hit their fresh 52-week high, while Albert David, Duncan Engineering, Swelect Energy, Mangalam Industrial and W S Industries touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
