Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the amid brisk in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Bharat Immunological (19.98%), ITI Ltd(19.36%) and Vivo Bio Tech(17.76%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 1258.12 points down at 77964.99, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 388.71 points at 23616.05.


In the Nifty50 index, 4 stocks closed in the green, while 46 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as ITI Ltd, Mangal Credit, Thyrocare Tech., Hi-Tech Winding Systems and Betex India hit their fresh 52-week high, while Jai Corp, Shervani Ind, Dai Ichi Kark, Ugar Sugar Work and Ecos(India)Mobilit touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
