Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the amid brisk in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Bilcare Ltd(19.99%), Pioneer Invest(19.99%), Gini Silk Mills(19.99%), Indo Us Bio-Tech(19.99%), Gujarat Hotels(19.98%), Oracle Credit(19.95%), Saurashtra Cements(19.69%), Gala Precision Engin(17.97%), Captain Polyplast(16.16%) and Captain Pipes(16.10%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 0.39 points down at 78472.48, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 22.55 points at 23750.2.


In the Nifty50 index, 30 stocks closed in the green, while 20 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Pioneer Invest, Gujarat Hotels, Oracle Credit, Gala Precision Engin and Captain Polyplast hit their fresh 52-week high, while Diligent Ind, Intec Capital, Odigma Consultancy, Universus Photo and Hathway Cable touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
