Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the amid brisk in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Umang Dairies(20.00%), Ajcon Global(20.00%), Crown Tours(19.99%), Superior Ind(19.99%), Rajdarshan Ind(19.98%), Ind Swift Ltd(19.98%), Ashok Alco-Chem(19.98%), RTCL Ltd(19.97%), Aksh Optifibre(19.96%) and Landmark Prop(19.96%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 56.74 points down at 81709.12, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 30.61 points at 24677.8.


In the Nifty50 index, 21 stocks closed in the green, while 29 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Ajcon Global, Ashok Alco-Chem, Conart Engg, Regent Enterprises and Natural Biocon(I)hit their fresh 52-week high, while Mitshi India, Advance Lifestyles, Rajnish Wellness, Dhanvarsha Finvest and Grandma Trading touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
