Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the amid brisk in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Soma Textiles(19.98%), Indo Cotspin(19.97%), VTM Ltd(19.80%), Oracle Credit(19.60%), Kriti Nutrients(18.46%), White Organic Retail(17.76%) and Adani Gas(15.69%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 1190.34 points down at 79043.74, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 360.75 points at 23914.15.


In the Nifty50 index, 4 stocks closed in the green, while 46 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as VTM Ltd, The Indian Wood Products Co, Bliss GVS Pharma, Deep Industries and DJ Mediaprint & Logistics hit their fresh 52-week high, while Vision Cinemas, Response Informatic, Alliance Int., Maximus Intl. and Inditrade Capital touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
