Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the amid brisk in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Next Mediaworks(20.00%), Anand Rayons(19.99%), Everest Org(19.99%), Megri Soft(19.97%) and Revati Organics Ltd.(19.90%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 422.59 points down at 77155.79, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 168.6 points at 23349.9.


In the Nifty50 index, 15 stocks closed in the green, while 35 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Megri Soft, Revati Organics Ltd., Kiri Industries, Sumedha Fiscal and Artemis Medicare hit their fresh 52-week high, while Adani Transmission, CWD L, Honasa Consumer, Loyal Textiles and Ovobel Foods Ltd touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
